FAME Board Member To Present Classes Beginning in February, aspiring entertainment professionals can learn about the key technologies used in the entertainment industry via live Internet classes from Cal State Dominguez Hills. An online Certificate of Completion in Entertainment Technology will be offered starting in February 2003. Students will participate in live, online lectures and discussions from their home or office. The first course, The Technology of Television, will debut on Tuesday, February 27 at 6 p.m. The course will cover basic principles and technology of television, digital and high definition television, interactive television, broadcast, cable, satellite and video, and Hollywood's TV business. Two additional courses will follow: The Technology of Movies in March and The Technology of New Media in April.
